Italian footwear maker founded in 1974 by Mauro Sani, named after the Tuscan horsemen of the Maremma. Buttero makes leather boots, sneakers, derbies, loafers and sandals, with all production kept in-house in Tuscany using locally sourced, largely vegetable-tanned leathers.
